We want our alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends to continue engaging with one another, even as we isolate ourselves in our homes. We will be providing fun engagement opportunities online on this page (and through social media). At the bottom of this page, you’ll find a list of other entertainment options we think you’ll find interesting. For updates on the College’s response to COVID-19, visit Campus Closures.
Wilmington College has had to make difficult decisions in responding to the threat of COVID-19. These decisions were not taken lightly, and they come with a real financial cost to the College and to students. A gift from you at this time will have an immediate impact as the College redirects its resources to support students and plan for the next academic year. Be sure to select “WC Coronavirus Emergency Recovery Fund” from the list of designations.
Virtual Registration Cost: $40 per player
Virtual registration has been added to this event with the concerns around COVID-19. All you have to do is play 18 holes from the start of the outing on July 25th, until the close of the virtual outing on August 1st. This can take place at any course, and you will submit your scores following the completion of your play. More information to follow.
We are unable to host virtual participants in the hole-in-one competition but final scores will be taken into consideration for the overall virtual winner of the Sharon Sims 2020 Golf Outing.
With over 500 participants and over $15,000 raised for WC athletics programs, the WC advancement department & WC athletic department would like to thank everyone for their participation in the #QuakerQuarantineVirtual5K!

The 90s show “FRIENDS” was the winner of the BEST TV SHOW bracket!
Find yourself working from home lately? Some virtual meeting applications allow you to upload a custom background (instructions for Zoom). Show people your WC spirit (instead of your messy home “office”)!
As part of the College’s 150th anniversary celebration, we want to highlight slices of life from the memories of alumni and friends, and glimpses into their WC experience by inviting you to share favorite memories. Many of these will be selected for publication in The LINK magazine and highlighted on this page.
WILMINGTON COLLEGE RADIO
The Quake seeks to embolden its listeners through diverse radio broadcasts that celebrate the youthful rebellion of postmodern music. We’re here to celebrate what music has grown to become, as well as the roots that it stems from. We’re here to amplify voices that need to be heard, to shake our community with the sheer power of awareness, truth, and some real good jams.
Zoos, museums, and more are sharing experiences online at this time. Although not affiliated with Wilmington College, we want to share these resources with you.
