Alumni Awards


We recognize outstanding Wilmington College in three categories: Distinguished Professional Achievements, Distinguished Volunteer Services and Distinguished Contributions to Education.

The Deadline for Submissions to be awarded in 2019 is May 1. Any submission received after May 1, 2019 will be considered for 2020.

ALUMNI CITATION FOR DISTINGUISHED PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS

Awards are intended to recognize Wilmington College graduates who:

Have made significant contributions to their professional field by:

  • Demonstrating leadership in their field
  • Being recognized for career achievements
  • Receiving other awards
  • Being recognized by their peers
  • Maintaining memberships in professional organizations

Demonstrated outstanding Service to:

  • Community
  • Family
  • Wilmington College

SUBMIT A CANDIDATE

JOHN FRAZIER AWARD FOR DISTINGUISHED VOLUNTEER SERVICES

Awards are intended to recognize Wilmington College graduates who:

  • Exemplify the spirit of volunteerism
  • Show a high standard of leadership
  • Have volunteered for a minimum of three years
  • Are not currently serving on Alumni Council

Have demonstrated volunteer service to Wilmington College by:

  • Enhancing opportunities for alumni involvement in their Alma Mater
  • Actively working in school/Alumni sponsored activities

AND / OR

Have demonstrated volunteer service to the community by:

  • Being involved in community activities
  • Promoting a positive image of Wilmington College through service projects

ALUMNI CITATION FOR DISTINGUISHED CONTRIBUTIONS TO EDUCATION

Awards are intended to recognize Wilmington College graduates who:

  • Have taught or been involved in the education of students for at least fifteen (15)years in public or private education
  • Have made outstanding contributions in the field of education
  • Have received distinguished awards and honors
  • Have been recognized by their peers
  • Have demonstrated innovative teaching skills
