Wilmington College is celebrating its sesquicentennial – 150 years of providing a value-based education to thousands of students from around the world. This is a momentous event in the history of the College. It is a time to remember and celebrate the trials and obstacles that the College has overcome. It’s a time to reflect on the faculty and staff whose passion sustained the College through good times and bad. It’s a time for alumni to recall the unique memories and relationships that were created while at Wilmington College. It’s a time for friends of the College to appreciate the contributions that Wilmington College has made in the community. And, importantly, it is the time for Wilmington College to position itself for continued growth and success into the next 150 years.
As part of the College’s 150th anniversary celebration, we want to highlight slices of life from the memories of alumni and friends, and glimpses into their WC experience by inviting you to share favorite memories. Many of these will be selected for publication in The LINK magazine and highlighted on this page.
In celebration of our sesquicentennial, Wilmington College will publish a coffee table book featuring highlights of the College’s history as well as photos. Ordering instructions will be posted when they become available.
