Jeremiah Guappone

Board of Trustees

A lifelong Ohioan, Jeremiah Guappone's journey has intertwined tradition and forward-thinking. From the earthy roots of a family farm in Northeastern Ohio, where the virtues of hard work and simplicity prospered, to his dynamic leadership roles in digital communications and marketing, Jeremiah's path reflects both the integrity of his upbringing and the innovation of his professional field. Deeply valuing a Liberal Arts education, he believes in the transformative power of a holistic learning approach that cultivates both the intellect and the spirit. As a first-generation college graduate from Ohio Dominican University, he completed a degree in Computer Information Systems, boosted by minors in Philosophy and Business Administration. It was there he learned that a college experience is more than academic achievement; it shapes well-rounded individuals poised to make meaningful contributions to society. In Cleveland, Ohio, Jeremiah serves as the Chief Strategy Officer & General Manager at Data Genomix, an innovative digital marketing and communications firm. Data Genomix is not just another marketing tech agency; is a mission-focused group of collaborative problem-solvers. Devoted to pioneering strategic, data-driven digital marketing solutions, Data Genomix enables partners to thrive and connect with target audiences in engaging and impactful ways. As a beacon of creativity refined by data, they champion the virtues of wisdom, temperance, courage, and justice in all their work, demonstrating a commitment to long-term relationships, adaptability, and innovation.

Jeremiah's academic pursuits didn't end with his undergraduate studies. He completed an MBA in the Executive program at Cleveland State University in 2023, a testament to his dedication to lifelong learning and continual professional development. Serving on the Board of Trustees at Wilmington College, Jeremiah's ethos aligns seamlessly with the Quaker values of simplicity, peace, integrity, community, and equality. Beyond his professional life, he remains rooted in the community, actively supporting the arts in Cleveland as a Board Member of Playhouse Square Partners, and is a member of his city's Zoning Board of Appeals.
