The Wilmington College Student Diversity Council is made up of voluntary student representatives from the different affinity groups on campus. We work together to identify student concerns (specifically, concerns related to underrepresented and marginalized groups on campus) and to develop solutions to those issues. We believe that we should utilize our commonality as WC students to work toward a campus environment where EVERYONE can thrive.
Membership
The Student Diversity Council is overseen by the Office of Diversity & Inclusion, however it is a student-led organization. Most members are representatives from affinity groups on campus, but any student may join as a "student representative," regardless of participation/membership in other organizations.
