Life Science
The Life Science concentration prepares students for a wide variety of careers in biology. The Life Science concentration provides the best pathway for students who plan to go to Medical, Veterinary or Chiropractic Schools, as many of the requirements of the concentration are also prerequisites for these professional schools. The Life Science concentration offers classes in a wide variety of systems from molecular to ecological, providing a broad and rigorous background in the biological sciences. This allows students concentrating in Life Science to enter a wide array of competitive careers and post-graduate educational experiences such as graduate or professional school. Students in the biology program gain hands-on research experience through a capstone course with individualized attention by a faculty mentor.
