CANCELLED THROUGH MARCH 27 -Wilmington College Observing Women’s History Month with Public Events

Community Invited to WMH Luncheons, Movie Nights and More Wilmington College wishes to share its observation of Women's History Month with the greater community by inviting interested residents to attend special programming throughout the latter half of March. The first Women's History Month Luncheon will feature Elizabeth Newby speaking on the topic, "Migrant with Hope," March 17, from noon to 1 p.m., in Pyle Center Dining Room C&D. Later that week, on March 19, the first of two Women's History Month movie nights will feature the screening of a popular contemporary film, at 7:30 p.m., in CSA 148 (Center for the Sciences and Agriculture). On March 31, the second Women's History Month Luncheon will feature the annual "Through the Eyes of a Fifth Grader," which features a diverse panel of women discussing their childhood experiences, from noon to 1 p.m., in Pyle Center C&D. The second movie night will be March 31when the Latino Student Assn. presents another popular contemporary film at 7:30 p.m., in CSA 148. A bonus event for the March observance is planned for April 2 with Women's History Month Trivia Night, from 7 to 8 p.m., in Boyd Cultural Arts Center Room 121. These events are free of charge and open to the public.
