WC, which competes as a member of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Assn. (IHSA), was the overall high point team in the morning and the reserve high point team in the afternoon show, while team members Ciara Lawson and Bryanna Warner, garnered overall high point rider awards for the respective shows. Also, senior rider Brooke Pitts won her classes at both shows in some very tough competition.
"This is a great start for a very young team, so we are really excited for the future," said Daren Wright, assistant professor of equine management and director of Equine Program. The team has 24 riders on its roster.
