Informal Gathering Staged as Info Session and 2-Way Communication
Students had an opportunity to learn about new developments on campus, offer good ideas and discuss challenging situations during a campus gathering known as Student Conversation on Sept. 22.
Representatives from AVI, the College's dining services provider, were on hand to offer updates while announcements were made about the upcoming installation of "Blue Light" security phones on campus and the new policy on the hours that campus buildings will be unlocked and accessible to the public effective Oct. 1.(SEE RELATED STORY ON BLUE PHONES)
Also, social media situations were discussed within the context of the College's Quaker values. A pending plan for a minor in Esports Management was announced and ideas were presented on how commuter students can become more engaged with the campus.
Future Student Conversation forums are being planned as the academic year progresses.
