Evan Whitaker Honored for Academic Prowess
Evan Whitaker, a senior at Wilmington College, received the Jeffers-Kincaid Award for Excellence in Mathematics. In addition to a cash prize, Whittaker's name will be added to a plaque mounted in the Math Center highlighting annual recipients.

The award was presented earlier this semester for the 2020-21 academic year by Dr. Russell Kincaid, professor of mathematics, along with donors Bill and Penny Kincaid. He is an emeritus professor of mathematics at WC.
Whitaker is a mathematics and education major from Grove City.
