A trio of pre-college age, female musicians studying under a voice faculty member from the Peter-Cornelius Conservatory in Mainz, Germany, placed first at the annual Jugend Musiziert (youth making music), state-level competition, and qualified to compete in the national round in Hamburg, where they won a third place prize.
The selections were “There is a Budding Morrow in Midnight” and ”Spring Quiet.”
