Hands-On Learning: Chemistry Students Attend National Professional Conference

Senior Logan Frazier Presents His Research

Four Wilmington College chemistry majors attended the National Meeting of the American Chemical Society in Indianapolis on March 27-28. They include seniors Logan Frazier and Nico Swepston and juniors Madi Butorac and Ali Storer.

Frazier presented a poster of his Senior Capstone Research project, which also included former WC student co-authors Sam Foote ('22) and Spencer Lanham ('19) and WC faculty members Dr. Mark Chrisman and Dr. Michael Goldcamp. The poster was titled "Coordination Polymers of Metal Complexes Containing alpha-Hydroxy Acetate and Pyridine Groups."

The students attended research talks, research poster presentations and the vendor exposition.
