New Academic Year Opens with Renewed Optimism
While the COVID-19 pandemic has morphed in recent months into a less threatening concern, the fall semester at Wilmington College is looking much like it did pre-March 2020 as most masking and physical distancing restrictions have been lifted.
The College is continuing its mask-optional policy with certain caveats as the 2022-23 academic year progresses. Going forward, it will continue to monitor current positive cases on a local and statewide basis while seeking counsel from the Clinton County Health Department and CDC guidelines.
The College's number of positive cases from the start of classes in August through Oct. 6 stands at 28 total cases — 23 students and five employees. There currently are no positive cases.
