
College and Career Academy
Designed for 9th- 12th grade high school students, participants can earn up to 4 academic credits toward a degree program along with a work-ready credential through our partnership with Coursera.
Participants in the program will receive:
- Career assessment, insights, and advising on their best career pathways.
- Exposure to regional employers along with inside knowledge of growing industries and how to enter them.
- Information about how Wilmington College’s majors align with growing career fields.
- Guidance on resumes, cover-letters, and online profiles.
- Enrollment in and industry-backed certification with up to 8 weeks to complete online.
- Between 2-4 academic credits awarded upon completion of program.
The College and Career Academy is open to all high school students between 9th and 12th grades. Cost is $200 and includes all learning materials, meals for the 1-day in-person session, and enrollment in the credential program.
The registration fee is refundable if cancelation request is received no later than 2 weeks prior to scheduled session.
