150 Stories for 150 Years
Submit Your Story
Everyone has favorite stories from their Wilmington College days. Perhaps it’s an especially memorable good-natured prank, how you met your significant other on campus or the fact that classmates you met at WC have been an enduring part of your life. Maybe it’s a memorable sports victory, recollections of a unique presentation on campus or even how Wilmington College changed your life and helped make your success possible.
As part of the College’s 150th anniversary celebration, we want to highlight slices of life from the memories of alumni and friends, and glimpses into their WC experience by inviting you to share favorite memories. Many of these will be selected for publication in The LINK magazine and highlighted on this page.
The Spring/Summer 2020 and Fall 2020/Winter 2021 issues of The LINK featured some 20 pages of your stories. We welcome submissions through May 1, 2021, for possible inclusions in the Spring/Summer issue, which is slated for publishing in June. Stories are added regularly to the website so please send your submissions. These are subject to selection and editing by a WC editor, and we request your stories contain no more than 500 words.
We’re hoping to ultimately have 150 stories. Be a part of Wilmington College’s 150th anniversary celebration!
Disclaimer: Once stories and recollections are submitted, they become the property of Wilmington College and may undergo editing for length, context, grammar or good taste at the discretion of the editor. By submitting your story you are giving Wilmington College the express right to publish your story in The Link Alumni Magazine, Wilmington College Website and social media accounts.
