At Wilmington College, we pair our prospective students with an energetic expert in the admission process of their chosen major(s). Your admission counselor will be identified by their areas of expertise below, but feel free to reach out to anyone to start the admission process- even if you haven’t chosen a major yet. We also send out recruiters (specialists who visit school fairs and other events to find students they feel would be a great fit at Wilmington College) and engage exceptional current students through our student ambassador program.

Steve works with students who are interested in our Accounting, Business Administration, and Education majors. Steve also serves as the admission liaison for football, basketball, baseball, softball, and track & cross-country. Steve is a Wilmington College graduate with a degree in Sport Management with a Coaching minor and has a degree from Fairmont State University in Sport Management and Business Administration. Steve lives in nearby Xenia, Ohio with his wife, Cindy, and son, Zane (a Business Finance junior at Wilmington College).

Thank you for your interest in Wilmington College! I am a native of Wilmington and am married to a WC alum (2006), Melissa. I serve on the Office of Admission management team and as a counselor to students interested in our nationally recognized programs in Athletic Training, Pre-Physical Therapy, Sport Management, and Exercise Science. I also manage our WC Student Ambassador program. With a background in education, assimilation and public speaking, I enjoy promoting the college and providing enrollment assistance to students and their families. Having sent four children of my own to college, I provide a valued experience to those who may feel overwhelmed by the admission and financial aid process.

EDUCATION: B.S. in Agriculture with a concentration in Agronomy, Wilmington College

Jenny serves students who are interested in pursuing a degree in our nationally recognized programs of agriculture and equine business management. She grew up on a family farm in Southwest Ohio and has continued to be involved with both her and her husband’s family farm operations.  She is an active supporter of ag based programs such as FFA, 4-H, and the Farm Bureau. A Graduate of Wilmington College, with a degree in Agriculture and a concentration in Agronomy, Jenny brings work experience from within the Ag Industry. Jenny and her husband, Kevin, reside in Clinton County, Ohio.  Jenny hopes to share her experience in the industry as well as her passion for agriculture and Wilmington College with prospective students and their families.

Tim is the Admission Counselor for students who are interested in majoring in the Humanities, Social Sciences, Fine Arts, and Communication Arts. Tim also coordinates all of our small group visits to campus. Tim lives in Wilmington with his wife Elexis, newborn son Tate and two dogs Harley Quinn and Gunner. He graduated from Wilmington High School in 2011 and is a 2015 graduate of Wilmington College with a Bachelors of Arts in History and Educational Studies. While at the College, Tim was involved with men’s soccer, Greek Life, Residents Life, Theater and several other areas of campus. Tim was the 2015 recipient of the Robert E. Lucas Leadership Award.

Heather is the Assistant Director of Admission and works specifically with students interested in transferring to Wilmington College. As a transfer to Wilmington in 2007, it is her priority to make the transfer process seamless, it is one of the reasons she chose to transfer to Wilmington herself. A former academic adviser for Southern State Community College, Heather values the experience students have at a community college. Heather is a 2010 graduate of Wilmington College with a degree in Political Science and History and went on to receive her Master’s degree from Wright State University in American History. Heather’s husband Ryker is also an alum of Wilmington College with a degree in Agriculture Business. They currently reside in Franklin, Ohio with their daughter, Henlee.
