Student & Faculty Research Forum

Join us for this poster-style research event, showcasing our students’ academic work. All are invited to attend!

Registration is now open! Participation in this event is open to all to students and faculty in all majors, disciplines, and programs. Please complete the online registration form by Friday, April 15.

Students – please work directly with your faculty to finalize your research project(s) for this event.

Registered participants will be eligible for the following awards:

  • Best in Class
  • Best Faculty/Staff Collaboration
  • Coaches’ Award
  • President’s Choice

All posters must be displayed in Hermann Court by 9 a.m. on April 28. You will be able to check-in and hang your poster starting at 8 a.m. that morning. Materials to hang your poster will be available for you. If you have extenuating circumstances that prevent you from checking in that morning, please contact Deanna Vatan in Academic Affairs at

Judging of the posters will begin at 9 a.m. Winners will be selected for each academic area. In addition, there will be a poster selected for President’s Choice, Best Student-Faculty Collaboration, and Coaches’ Choice. Please plan on having copies of a handout to help highlight aspects of your project. Additionally, be prepared with an “elevator pitch” to discuss your research with judges and/or guests. Each poster will be judged by at least five individuals.

Student participants are asked to stand by their posters from 10 a.m. to noon so they can interact with judges and event attendees.
