The Golden Trident Is the First Novel of Her Trilogy

Combine ambition, treachery and a romance gone horribly wrong with a massive dragon, demonic Korvs and hellish Drakors and you have a recipe for compelling intrigue in Wilmington's Sabrina Dolph's first published novel, The Golden Trident.

Dolph is a senior from Farmersville majoring in primary education/intervention specialist. She started writing the novel as a junior in high school "just to see if I could write and publish a book." Upon coming to Wilmington College, the "beauty of the campus" influenced the setting of The Golden Trident and she was encouraged to finish the story about Liam.

"Liam's tale is set in the world known as Layor. He lives the life of a kitchen servant who wants nothing more than to be accepted by his peers," according to the book's description. "Liam sets out on an adventure and meets many odd and terrifying creatures. His journey meets a rock in the path,....."

Dolph published the novel in 2022 through Newman Spring Publishing. It's available through both Amazon and Barnes and Noble. She plans to follow The Golden Trident with two more novels to complete the trilogy.
