Trent Gilmore Recalls Senior Night Win over Nationally Ranked Capital

SENIOR SALUTES Honor Wilmington College's Graduating Seniors Senior Trent Gilmore has begun work in the agriculture industry at Nutrien Ag Solutions while also working at his family’s campground. PICTURED: Trent Gilmore Trent, an agricultural business major from Howard, Ohio, credits his College experience with "helping bring me out of my shell and have the confidence to get involved with activities and groups." Those involvements were some of the most gratifying aspects of his time at Wilmington College. Trent was a member of the men’s basketball team, FarmHouse Fraternity, Aggies and Residence Life. Some favorite memories are the basketball team's Senior Night win over nationally ranked Capital and helping to grow WC's FarmHouse fraternity chapter. "I never expected I'd get to know so many new people through the different groups, teams or organizations I was involved in. Many of those friendships will last a lifetime," he said in adding a word of advice to future seniors. "Don’t be afraid to get involved with any group or activity. You will be surprised by the connections and memories you will make!" SENIOR SALUTES are the result of Wilmington College's graduating seniors completing an online survey requesting them to look back on their time at WC and share favorite memories, especially meaningful events/relationships and how their time at the College has impacted them.
