Students’ Food Drive Assists 14 Local Families at Thanksgiving

Shout out to Seniors Kaley Daniels, Haley Daniels and Sammi Burchwell for Leading Food Drive Fourteen local families received a Thanksgiving meal kit as a result of a Wilmington College student-led initiative designed to share the bounty they enjoy with others less fortunate. A Thanksgiving food drive within the campus community netted the food and financial resources needed to create 14 family meal kits enjoyed by local residents on Thanksgiving. Also, food donations assisted Hope House with its Thanksgiving dinner. WC seniors Kaley Daniels, Haley Daniels and Sammi Burchwell led the drive and wished to thank those who supported their efforts. "We wish to express our sincere appreciation for the support of our community!" they said in a joint message to the College community. "We could not have done it without the help of the campus!"
