Data Science and Analytics Minor Complements Non-Math Degrees
Wilmington College is expanding its offerings in mathematics to include a major concentration in Data Analytics and a minor in Data Science and Analytics starting in fall 2023.
The Data Science and Analytics courses offered through the Mathematics Department are intended to meet a variety of needs. Some students will wish to major in Mathematics with a concentration in Data Science as they look forward to a career in that field. Other students will want to incorporate some study of Data Science as a supplement to their major by adding a Data Science and Analytics minor to their degree of study. The Data Science courses can be used as part of a Mathematics major with a concentration in Data Analytics or to receive a minor in Data Science and Analytics.
