Morgan Ritz Played Basketball and Started a Sorority at WC

SENIOR SALUTES Honor Wilmington College's Graduating Seniors December graduate Morgan Ritz recalls the excitement during her sophomore year when the Lady Quakers basketball team beat Baldwin Wallace in the 2017 semifinals Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament en route to an 18-10 season — the program's best in nine years. PICTURED: Morgan Ritz "Some of my favorite memories involve playing against BW that year and working with eight other wonderful ladies to bring Sigma Alpha sorority to campus," said the animal science major from Seymour, Indiana. Morgan is currently working as a manager trainee for Kalmbach Swine Management in Circleville, Ohio. Another great memory is meeting her fiancée at WC. Her experience has also changed Morgan between coming to the College as a freshman and now, so she urges those WC students to follow to live in the moment and embrace this unique time in one's life. "Enjoy very moment on campus and take advantage of opportunities. It's a great place to learn and grow academically and individually," she said. "WC has opened me to many other viewpoints and perspectives that have allowed me to become a more well-rounded individual." SENIOR SALUTES are the result of Wilmington College's graduating seniors completing an online survey requesting them to look back on their time at WC and share favorite memories, especially meaningful events/relationships and how their time at the College has impacted them.
