Jeff Clydesdale: ‘Leaving with So Many Strong Friendships Is the Most Positive Experience I Could Have Asked For’

SENIOR SALUTES Honor Wilmington College's Graduating Seniors Jeff Clydesdale is continuing his career preparation as a graduate student this fall in Ohio University's Master of Athletic Training program. The AT major from Circleville, who had an internship with the Cincinnati Reds, believes he is well prepared as he embarks upon his future. PICTURE: Jeff Clydesdale is pictured at a track and field competition this year. "My experiences gave me confidence in the health care profession of athletic training and those are complemented by the other real world experiences I've had while at WC," he said. Indeed, Jeff was a resident assistant and member of Student Government Assn., Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity, the track and field team, and the Sports Medicine Leadership Council. Yet, his WC experience has been so much more. "I wasn’t the most social person coming into WC, so leaving with so many strong friendships is the most positive experience I could have asked for," he said. "Some of my favorite memories are of hanging out with my friends and late-night video game sessions. I advise everyone to get out of your comfort zone while at WC because you never know the experiences and friendships that await beyond a leap into a new setting." SENIOR SALUTES are the result of Wilmington College's graduating seniors completing an online survey requesting them to look back on their time at WC and share favorite memories, especially meaningful events/relationships and how their time at the College has impacted them.
