Equestrian Team Competes at Ohio State and Ohio U.

Kelsey Stone Qualifies for Regional Competition Wilmington College’s equestrian team enjoyed success Feb. 25 and 26 when it competed in horse shows at Ohio State University and Ohio University. She will join Brianna Akam and Alison Flora at the Regionals March 12th Under the leadership of interim coach Jessica Haines, the team excelled in the Western show with: Allison Flora placing 1st and 4th in the Open Class; Mikal Porter, 2nd and 4th in Advanced; Ashley Dailey, 3rd and 3rd in Novice; Lexi Peterman, 5th and 6th in Novice; Kelsey Stone, 3rd and 5th in Intermediate II (qualified for Regionals); Adrianna Hibbard, 2nd and 5th in Intermediate II; Maggie Kwiatkowski, 3rd and 6thin Intermediate II. Also, Victoria Taylor, 4th and 6th in Intermediate II; Emma Washburn, 5th and 6th in Intermediate II; Madison McConn, 5th and 6th in Intermediate II; Chelsea Argo, 2nd and 3rd in Intermediate II; Kalynn Gillum, 6th in Intermediate II; Brianna Akam, 4th and 5th in Intermediate I; Mackenzie Smith, 2nd and 2nd in Beginner; and Kaitlynn Hodges, 3rd and 3rd in Beginner. In the Hunt Seat competition, Rebekah Rapp placed 5th in Beginner WTC and Adrieonna Stansbery competed in her first show. The equestrians will return to OSU for a competition this weekend.
