College to Employ Remote Learning/Working for Wednesday Morning

Announcement made in Anticipation of Potential Winter Storm

In preparation for the forecasted winter storm beginning this evening (Tues., Jan. 24) through tomorrow morning (Wed., Jan. 25), it has been decided that the main campus will transition to remote work and academics (classes, labs, etc.) for Wednesday morning.  At this time, normal operations will resume at noon on Wednesday.  Afternoon and evening activities will be held as currently scheduled.

Faculty will have discretion for afternoon classes to hold in person or remotely.  Faculty should notify all students of class plans in advance. All buildings will remain locked tomorrow morning (with keycard access only) and will be scheduled to unlock at 11:45 a.m.

Faculty and staff should take laptops and materials home this afternoon/evening in preparation for tomorrow morning. The College will monitor the weather situation tomorrow morning and make adjustments if needed.  The campus will be notified if the schedule above changes.
