The Portland, Indiana, resident was active in Kappa Delta, Order of Omega, Delta Tau Alpha, Aggies and Women in Agriculture, all of which offered her leadership development opportunities and a chance to spend time with “friends that became part of my family.”

“Wilmington College has helped me grow as a leader, a friend, and an individual,” she said. “WC gave me the opportunity to make connections, travel and create memories.”

Abby’s word of advice for future seniors is time goes quickly and before you know it graduation day is here. “Do not take your time on our small, tight-knit campus for granted. You never realize how special that is until you have to leave.”

SENIOR SALUTES are the result of Wilmington College’s graduating seniors completing an online survey requesting them to look back on their time at WC and share favorite memories, especially meaningful events/relationships and how their time at the College has impacted them.
