Evan Hatter is Assistant Professor of Music - Director of Bands at Wilmington College. He received a Bachelor of Music Education from Morehead State University and was awarded a Master of Music degree from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) at the University of Cincinnati. He also is currently pursuing his Doctor of Musical Arts degree from CCM. Evan directs the Quaker Thunder Pep Band at Wilmington College.

He has performed with many ensembles, most recently being the Sacred Winds Ensemble for the 2021 Kentucky Music Educators Association conference. Evan has also performed at the American Trombone Workshop with the CCM Trombone Choir, the 2020 Ohio Music Educators Association conference with the CCM Wind Symphony, and the 2017 Midwest Clinic with the Cincinnati Wind Band (formerly Fillmore Wind Band). He also has performed with the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra and Kentucky Symphony Orchestra.

Evan is currently a member of the Merit Theater Company Orchestra and Sacred Winds Ensemble. He is a former member of the Cave Run Symphony Orchestra. Evan performs regularly throughout the Greater Cincinnati region, as well as teaches an active studio of middle school, high school, and college aged low brass students. Evan previously was the Assistant Director of Bands at Thomas More University and is Adjunct Professor of Low Brass at Thomas More University. His primary teachers include Bill Mann, Nathan Dishman, Timothy Anderson, and Cristian Ganicenco.
