Address Location: 120 CSS Mailbox Location: More Info: Chris Silette is an Assistant Professor of Exercise Science at Wilmington College. Chris earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Ohio Dominican University in Columbus, Ohio. He received his Ph.D in Exercise Science from the University of Toledo. Chris received Graduate Teaching Assistantship while studying at the University of Toledo. His dissertation focused on both whole body oxygen uptake as well as microvascular oxygen uptake kinetics and EMG activity during sinusoidal cycling in healthy men. Prior to coming to Wilmington, Chris was a Visiting Assistant Professor of Kinesiology at Miami University, Oxford Ohio. While at Miami, he taught courses such as Anatomy and Physiology, Physical Activity and Health, Physiology of Exercise and Reflection Clinical Practices. Chris’s research interests include the physiological responses to the start of exercise as well as the effects of type II diabetes on the exercise response. Whether it be in the garden or taking his family on day hikes, Chris enjoys spending time outdoors. Chris currently lives in West Chester with his wife Adrienna, one year old daughter Adelaide, and the family cat Hermione.
