Cheryl oversees the day-to-day operation of the Financial Aid Office.
Cheryl is a Wilmington native, who graduated from Clinton Massie High School and earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting with minors in history and computer science from Wilmington College. While attending Wilmington College, she served as a work study student for the Financial Aid Office and was a member of the Business Club, Amnesty International, Greek Council and Alpha Phi Kappa Sorority.
After earning her degree, Cheryl continued to work for the Financial Aid Office on an interim basis and was officially hired in 1991 as a Financial Aid Counselor primarily assisting inmates at WC’s Franklin Pre-Release Center program apply for financial aid.
Cheryl currently serves as Senior Director of Financial Aid overseeing all aspects of financial aid for all undergraduate, graduate, and online programs at Wilmington College.
Cheryl and her husband John reside in Wilmington. They have two children, Matthew and Megan (2016 WC graduate) and a granddaughter, Braylee.
