First-Decade Society

Wilmington College’s FDS has been involved in some great things for young alumni of Wilmington College. FDS helps co-sponsor numerous events including the Alumni Bourbon Trail Trip, Homecoming, “0” Year Reunion, and much more. As we move forward, we hope to establish even more great activities and communications specifically for our young alumni.
  • The First Decade Society consists of 20 alumni who have graduated within the last 10 years--two representatives from each class year-- and two current student liaisons from the Student Philanthropy Council (SPC).
  • The First Decade Society will meet quarterly with the sub-committees meeting additionally as needed.
  • Involvement in the First Decade Society is a great way to network with other young alumni and build your resume.
  • FDS has been responsible for the developing of multiple alumni events, developing plans to promote philanthropy with our young alums, and working with the SPC to promote philanthropy and engagement with students on campus.
