For when a victim would like to be connected to the local domestic violence and rape crisis center. Services include:

  • Personal advocacy (case management)
  • Court advocacy (offered at any stage of the criminal justice process)
  • Medical advocacy (offered at any stage of medical care and evidence collection)
  • Sexual assault forensic exam
  • Emergency legal advocacy (for help with getting an Order of Protection)
  • Legal assistance
  • Shelter
  • Therapy
  • Transportation & cell phones
  • Parenting support
  • Other information & referrals

To get a sexual assault forensic exam completed, call 888.816.1146 (the 24-hour crisis line) Within 96 hours after an incident involving unwanted sexual contact occurs, victims can go to their center to receive a sexual assault forensic exam by a trained SANE to provide quality evidence collection. Victims and/or their advocate should call the 24-hour helpline. A SANE will be available within 1 hour after the request is made.
