Wilmington College’s Agriculture major offers six different concentrations, as well as a new Agriculture concentration with the Political Science major: Food Policy & Agriculture Advocacy.

Agricultural Business
The Agricultural Business concentration combines agriculture courses with varied offerings in accounting, business administration, and economics. This concentration will prepare you to work in areas such as agricultural credit, farm business management, agricultural supply firm management, and marketing. Many students choose a dual major in Business Administration.

Agricultural Leadership and Communications
The Agricultural Communication concentration is designed as a cross-curricular degree program that combines an agricultural science core with study and application in integrated communication. Through the context of agriculture, you will explore the growing fields of food policy and development, technical and science writing, agricultural journalism, public relations, event planning, and communications management.

Agronomy
The Agronomy concentration focuses on the science of soil management and crop development, from a holistic, integrated point of you. This program will prepare you for agriculture professions in areas of soil science, crop science, agriculture biochemistry and basic research, as well as soil and water conservation.

Resource Conservation & Regenerative Agriculture
The Resource Conservation & Regenerative Agriculture concentration is designed for transfer students from Clark State Community College, Agricultural Technical Institute – The Ohio State University, and Southern State Community Colleges who have completed an Associate of Applied Science or a two-year technical degree in an area related to Agriculture, Horticulture, Natural Resources, or Environmental Studies.
