Shelby Boatman

Adjunct Professor of Public History and Director of the Clinton Co. History Center,
History

Acting as current Executive Director of the Clinton County History Center, a private 501(c)3 non-profit in Wilmington OH, Shelby oversees all aspects of operations for the museum. Graduating locally from Wilmington High School in 2013, she is a Clinton County native. Shelby earned her Bachelor’s Degree in History and Political Science from Ashland University in 2017. She is an Ashbrook Scholar Alumna and Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History Scholar. Earning her Masters in Public History, Shelby graduated from Northern Kentucky University in 2020. She is a former Clinton County Outstanding Women Keynote Speaker and current Wilmington Noon Rotarian, as well as contributing columnist to the Wilmington News Journal. Shelby resides in Wilmington with her family and enjoys visiting historical sites in her spare time.
