Hal Shunk

My teaching experience here at WC began with teaching Art both on campus and in the prison system. With time I became a full time Art Professor on Wilmington’s main campus. I have taught Painting, Design, Printmaking, Photography, Drawing and Art History in my tenure here at WC. I am currently the Director for the Harcum Art Gallery on campus. My classes often have a Service Learning component, a Global component or a Critical Thinking requirement. I have traveled with classes throughout Europe seeing some of the most famous works of Art and Architecture. I am an active Artist currently painting and exhibiting my work throughout the country.

Hobbies

I enjoy traveling and visiting Museums around the world. I enjoy watching soccer matches, painting, reading science fiction, running and rock and roll.
