Brook Edwards is a 2004 graduate of Wilmington College, earning his AB in History with a minor in Mathematics. He has gained a wealth of experience in higher education, both inside and outside of the formal classroom setting. Brook began his tutoring career in 1993 when he became a CRLA-trained student tutor in WC’s Student Resource Center. Since that time, he successfully built a tutor training program and has enjoyed many hours in the classroom teaching everything from Political Science to Mathematics to English. Brook earned his MA in English in 2011 through National University’s accelerated online program while he continued to teach a diverse selection of classes and students both on-campus and online. Brook’s career in higher education began at Wilmington College, and his family also boasts a long standing history with this institution. Both of his parents retired from WC, both his mother and his wife are WC graduates. Brook resides outside of Wilmington with his wife and three sons.
At Wilmington Brook is the Manager of the Student Resource Center in the Robinson Communications Center and an adjunct professor of English. He has taught Writing I, Writing II, and Effective College Study Strategies.
