Wilmington College Senior Selected as National Teach Ag Ambassador

Chyann Kendel to Represent Campaign at National FFA Convention Chyann Kendel's passion for agricultural education and her ability to share that passion resulted in the Wilmington College senior being selected to the National Teach Ag Ambassador Program. PICTURED: Chyann Kendel is among an exclusive group of 18 Ambassadors selected from a national pool of candidates. She is pictured third from the right in the top row. Kendel is an agricultural education major from Eaton, where she was a 2018 graduate of Twin Valley South High School. She was selected from a nationwide pool of applicants and will have the opportunity to represent the National Teach Ag Campaign at the National Future Farmers of America Convention this fall in Louisville, as well as throughout the 2021-22 academic year at local and state levels. Teach Ag Ambassadors communicate with a variety of audiences to recruit future agriculture teachers and the "Teach Ag" message. Kendel will receive customized training for the upcoming campaign. The National Teach Ag Campaign is an initiative of the National Council for Agricultural Education as a special project of the National FFA Foundation.
