PICTURED: Victoria Taylor is pictured in familiar surroundings.  Victoria is an equine business management major from Westerville who was an active member of the Equestrian Team and Equine Judging Team, which dovetails perfectly into her career ambitions.  "I plan to become a manager at an equine barn and work towards my dream goal of one day starting up my very own therapeutic riding center," she said. A favorite memory takes her back to helping the College recruit students interested in the equine program. "I always loved helping out with Equine Studies Visit Day out at the Equine Center," she said. "I loved this because it reminded me of going through the barn for the very first time and realizing this was the place for me. I also enjoyed all of the horse shows with my team." Indeed, a highlight of her time on the Equestrian Team was qualifying for semifinals in 2019, which gave her the chance to compete in Florida. "My experience at Wilmington College has shown me how to be a strong leader and achieve any goal I set, but most importantly it has shown me who I really am and what I am capable of doing," Victoria said, noting her advice to those students who follow her is to embrace opportunities and pursue their interests with unbridled vigor. "Live your college life to the fullest. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity." SENIOR SALUTES are the result of Wilmington College's graduating seniors completing an online survey requesting them to look back on their time at WC and share favorite memories, especially meaningful events/relationships and how their time at the College has impacted them.
