As a human component of the class, they conducted a clothing drive that resulted in 18 huge bags of items to share and assist those in need. They dropped off the bounty Tuesday morning (Dec. 10), the final day of their class. “We collected coats, scarves, gloves, hats, socks, shoes, boots and other clothing items throughout the month of November,” said Grab, an assistant professor of social work, who noted the collection was held on WC’s campus, in addition to such community locations as Faith Lutheran Church, Kairos Coffee, Kava House and Wilmington High School. “We would like to thank Wilmington College and the Wilmington community that all helped make this a success,” she added.
