College Donates PPEs to Local Emergency Management Administration

Gloves, Gowns and Masks Secured from Biology, Chemistry and Athletic Training Areas  Wilmington College answered the call of a dire need for personal protection equipment (PPE) issued this week by Clinton County Commissioners and the local Emergency Management Administration (EMA). PICTURED: The College gathered together nearly 100 boxes of PPEs from academic areas. The College quickly mobilized and collected nearly 100 boxes of PPEs, including disposable gloves, gowns and masks used by the Biology, Chemistry and Athletic Training departments. The EMA is distributing the items to first responders and medical facilities in the county. WC is finishing its spring semester teaching exclusively online. EMA Director Thomas Brickel said in today's Wilmington News Journal, "The response to the COVID-19 pandemic will be fought and won at the local level."
