Quake Day of Service

An earthquake of service where the entire college community can work together to make the community a better place one wave at a time.

Our theme for this year is “Its a Wonderful World of Service”

Mulan Served her country
Tarzan Served his family
Now its our turn to serve the community

Volunteers will have a great time working together with some of our favorite community partners, make memories, get FREE lunch, a special treat and a prize. Let’s all make our final service event of the year a hit!

All volunteers should register as we need to plan accordingly for lunch.

Registration for the Annual Quake begins at 11:30 at the Grow Food Grow Hope Pavilion next to the gardens. We will have a small kick-off/lunch and then send volunteers to their sites to work.

Projects will be located at the following sites:

  • Grow Food Grow Hope
  • Denver Williams Park
  • Wilmington Nursing and Rehab
  • Continental Manor (Blanchester)
  • Sugartree Ministry
  • Clinton County Fair Grounds
  • Center for Service & Civic Engagement (Attic)

Volunteers will return to the pavilion around 3:30 for our closing reflection and Rita’s Italian Ice. We will then invite everyone to stick around and celebrate our accomplishments at the Aftershock.
