Watson Library


Watson Library supports the Mission of Wilmington College. The Library promotes the life-long development of information literacy among students, faculty, and staff.  The Library acquires and organizes collections of materials in a variety of formats to support the college curricula. Librarians respond to information needs by facilitating access to resources in many formats and locations. They provide assistance in the selection, evaluation, use, and presentation of resources.

In support of the Mission, Watson Library provides library services and collections to the widest possible community of seekers and learners. Watson Library’s primary responsibility is to the students, faculty, and staff of Wilmington College.

  • Provides a welcoming and comfortable research and study facility on the Main Campus
  • The library’s research professionals work with faculty to build collections and work with faculty and students individually and in classes to provide assistance in selecting, evaluating, using, and presenting knowledge and information.
  • For its Main Campus and Cincinnati program users researching online from any location and at any time, the library provides a robust Internet collection that includes e-books, e-references, online videos, more than 140 journal and other content databases, and several catalogs of resources
  • Acquires and organizes collections of materials in a variety of formats appropriate to the mission and curricula of the college and to serve the informational needs of users.
  • Offers wireless Internet access as well as networked campus computers
