Family Day

Family Day is a Wilmington College tradition, giving families a chance to visit their student(s), and witness the livelihood of the Wilmington College campus. Have a blast exploring the campus, the Wilmington community, and check out some these great events!

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED. PLEASE VISIT PYLE CENTER IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO REGISTER AT THE EVENT.

Families who pre-register by September 13, 2019, will receive a free gift! Please RSVP for the events listed below. The numbers will be used to assist us in ordering food/supplies and to know approximately how many people to expect. The cost for the day is $15 for adults, $10 for students (K-College), and kids 5 and under are free. There is no charge for your WC student. Admission to all athletic events included.

Bookstore Open

Pyle Center, Williams Stadium Tent | 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The Wilmington College Bookstore will be open to provide any WC swag you may need.

 

Alumni Swim Meet

Wilmington College Natatorium | 9:30 a.m.

Head over to WC Natatorium (Hermann Court) and watch as WC Swim Alumni participate in this annual event.

Harcum Art Gallery & Quaker Heritage Center Open

Boyd Cultural Arts Center | 10 a.m.

Harcum Art Gallery presents an exhibit of realist paintings by Jon Evans. The Quaker Heritage Center presents an exhibit on “Water Justice,” the water protectors and the Standing Rock Resistance to the Dakota access pipeline.

 

Gardening with Monte Anderson, Professor of Agriculture

Collett Mall | 10-11 a.m.

Join us for a discussion of horticulture.

 

Family-Friendly Activities

Collett Mall | 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

We will provide entertaining activities for any future WC Quakers you may have with you, including inflatables, face painting, a dunking booth and a kids’ activity table.

 

Food Truck Alley

Elm Street | 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Refuel after an exciting morning at your choice of several local food trucks, including: EAT | Rock Stop-N-Roll | Beaugard’s Southern BBQ | Generations Pizzeria | Kona Ice | Billie Gold Bubble Tea | Nyce Treats | Son Of a Biscuit

 

Wilmington College Football vs. Ohio Northern Polar Bears (Homecoming Game)

Williams Stadium | 2 p.m. Kickoff

The Homecoming game starts at 2 p.m. At Halftime we will crown the 2019 Homecoming King and Queen.
