The Wilmington College Annual Fund needs your support to quickly and nimbly adapt to the changing landscape of higher education. Demographic shifts, especially declining births rates, will drastically increase the competition for college students over the next decade. Your support of this new initiative will have an immediate and direct impact on the College’s ability to recruit, retain, and graduate the next generation of leaders.

How will my annual fund gift be used?

Your contributions make a meaningful difference by providing immediate benefits for all of our students in specific areas that you can now choose.

Probably the most important area in need of your support is Financial Aid. Both need and merit based scholarships are vital in creating attractive aid packages to potential freshmen. As competition increases, the cost of attendance will continue to be a critical concern to both students and parents as they make their college decisions. Financial Aid is the lynchpin to making college an affordable investment.

Another area that needs annual support is Student Life. Not all learning takes place inside a classroom. Having the resources for Hands-on Learning and Hands-on Living is a key component to the Wilmington College experience and having vibrant activities on and off campus is fundamental to retaining student as they matriculate.

Other areas needing annual support are Academic Support Services, Technology, Maintenance of our Physical Structures and Grounds, all play key roles in the ability of Wilmington College to positively impact enrollment each year.
