Exercise Science

MAJOR

We also offer a MINOR in Exercise Science.


The Exercise Science program is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in various health and fitness occupations or for graduate education in exercise science or other such pre-professional, health-related disciplines as physical therapy, physician assistance or medicine.

The major offers three concentrations: allied health, pre-athletic training and sport performance.

Those students in the allied health major who want to complete the pre-requisite courses for the MSAT should register for PH230 (above), and these additional courses:

PRE-ATHLETIC TRAINING CONCENTRATION

There are two options for this concentration: the Accelerated Pre-Athletic Training program (a three year program that prepares students to enter the MSAT graduate program) and the standard Pre-Athletic Training Program.
