In 2015, the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE), in partnership with the NATA and Board of Certification, announced the mandatory transition of all undergraduate professional Athletic Training programs to the graduate level.
While the faculty is actively developing this program, no admissions decisions, financial aid, or application will be accepted of an entering class pending final approval from the College, the Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE), the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), and the CAATE.
It is important to note that during this process there will be no disruption of the Wilmington College undergraduate athletic training program. We are committed to the education of the students currently enrolled in our program, as well as those undergraduate students who enroll in the B. S. in Athletic Training during this period of transition.
Once full approval has been earned, all information outlining the Master of Science in Athletic Training will be updated to this site.
Please contact the program director for additional information or questions related to the Wilmington College athletic training program.
