Transition to MSAT

On 2015 the Strategic Alliance for Athletic Training announced a decision to establish the professional degree for athletic training at the master’s level as an entry point for athletic training professionals.

The Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) degree program has completed the degree advancement process with the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). Therefore, starting in fall 2019, Wilmington College will no longer be accepting applications to the athletic training bachelor’s degree program. It is anticipated that the inaugural class of MSAT students will be admitted in the fall semester (August) of 2021. If you are visiting this page as a prospective student we encourage you to consider the Exercise Science (Allied Health track) degree program which will fulfill the undergraduate requirements for Master of Science in Athletic Training programs.
