Wilmington College is accepting nominations and applications for the position of Chief Business and Financial Officer.  Reporting to the President and serving on the President’s Council, the successful candidate will support the goals, values, and mission of Wilmington College.  The major areas of responsibility include budgeting, financial and endowment management, business office, information technology, infrastructure/facilities, and the planning and assessment associated with these functions.

The successful candidate will be a person of integrity with the values, capacities, and interpersonal skills to work in a collegial environment; have the financial, management, and interpersonal skills to lead a professional staff; and have a demonstrable commitment to service and support of the academic mission and continued expansion of the College.  A record of successful and effective financial management experience is required, along with proven organizational, communication, and analytical abilities.  Candidates must have a master’s degree (CPA certification desirable) and 7 years of relevant experience.  The College welcomes applications from qualified traditional and non-traditional candidates but will give preference to those with experience in private higher education or other similar non-profit organizations.
