Social & Political Studies

The Social and Political Studies major blends the disciplines of Sociology and Political Science into a major with three concentrations: International Studies, Pre-Law, and Socio- Political Studies. Sociology focuses on patterns of social interaction and social structure.

By emphasizing these recurrent aspects of social behavior, sociology provides important insights into human social life. Political Science courses are intended to facilitate an understanding of national and international political issues. Courses are offered in the sub-fields of American politics, law, international relations, and public administration.
