Information For Students
Wilmington College Psychology Club
The Psychology Club's main purpose at Wilmington College is to expose students to different aspects of the Psychology field. In the past years the club sponsored speakers, took field trips, and performed community service projects. A forensic psychologist, a school psychologist and other guests spoke during club meetings. Club members have taken a field trip to University of Dayton to sit in a graduate class. Members have participated in the street fair of Wilmington College and volunteered with Compeer in October where students worked directly with the mentally ill.
The club also gives students the opportunity to socialize. The community service projects and organizational activites afford members the opportunity to develop many new friendships with other students in their major.
