Visitors to the PRC - August 2004

March 21, 2006

On Wednesday, August 18, the Peace Resource Center staff spent the afternoon with a group of visitors from the Kumamoto, Japan, YWCA. The group was led by Miho Yasukawa, a resident of Kumamoto now studying in Chicago, and Charles Chatfield, a faculty member at Wittenburg University in Springfield, Ohio. They learned about the foundation and current work of the Peace Resource Center, met with members of the Wilmington College faculty and staff, and shared in a discussion of peace concerns, particularly the use of depleted uranium in weapons.
